As Vice President of Worldwide Operations and Customer Services, Mike Tabatabai is responsible for B2B Commerce, supply chain automation, global operations, worldwide book-to-authorize transactions, and customer care.
Under his leadership, the global operational processes were fundamentally re-engineered to significantly improve time to market, customer experience, shareholder's value, and the overall operational effectiveness. He has implemented impressive cost savings and pioneered AutoDesk's entry into e-Commerce. Tabatabai was one of the main visionaries driving the design and implementation of the worldwide infrastructure for electronic business.
Before joining AutoDesk, Tabatabai was Vice President of Worldwide Operation for WordStar International. In this capacity, he was responsible for information technology and management of all aspects of operations, business planning, manufacturing, distribution, procurement, telesales, and customer relations management on a global basis.
Prior to joining WordStar International, Tabatabai worked for Ashton-Tate responsible for all aspects of Operations and operational strategies, including corporate business planning, sales operations, procurement, software, manufacturing and distribution.
Tabatabai brings a diverse background ranging from high technology to manufacturing environments in both Automotive and Industrial Ceramics.
Tabatabai is an effective leader with over twenty years' experience in global senior and executive management. Consistent and proven ability to articulate a compelling vision, manage change, create strong customer-focused teams, develop and execute critical strategies, and deliver shareholder's value and exceptional customer experience. He is a graduate of Northrop University with a BSEE, Electronic Engineering degree and a Master of Science degree in Business Management.
